Dale-Ann Hitzeman, owner and private tutor

Dale-Ann is a highly-qualified, certified teacher and learning specialist with over 10 years of experience tutoring and home-schooling privately throughout New York City and Los Angeles. Throughout her undergraduate and graduate work, she gained her knowledge and experiences with students ranging from pre-school to college from Chicago to Asia and Florida to Africa. Previously teaching elementary school, Dale-Ann is currently tutoring and home-schooling full-time with students of all ages in reading (prek-high school), writing (prek-high school), mathematics (prek-high school calculus), sciences (prek-high school physics and chemistry) and test prep for ERB (all levels), ISEE (all levels), and SSAT (all levels) for the private schools, as well as the state exams for Common Core ELA and Math, New York Regents, SHSAT, WISC, Stanford-Binet and Gifted and Talented exams (OLSAT/NNAT2).  She focuses on her students' individual needs to improve and enrich them in their academic careers while using innovative and research-based materials and activities. Alex Bittner, private tutor

Alex was raised in Brooklyn, NY, and graduated from SUNY Purchase with a BFA in Dance. Over the years she has worked with students ranging in ages 2 to 12, specializing in math and movement. She is currently teaching preschool homeschooling as well as homework help, and standardized test prep for elementary school students. Alex takes the student's learning profile into consideration to pick the best-fit methods and approach to each subject or area of struggle, which allows her to be quick on her feet and can easily transition when needed. She is kind, patient and encourages her students to challenge themselves in and out of the classroom.
